TYPOLOGY
Pavilion Design
PROJECT AREA
384 sq.ft. / 35 sq.m.
LOCATION
Mumbai, India
BRIEF
Rather than a static retail container, the project operates as a spatial sequence—an elongated, tunnel-like form composed of arched aluminium frames wrapped in translucent polycarbonate.
The structure negotiates light and movement with precision. Daylight is filtered and diffused through the skin, softening the interior while maintaining a visual connection to the outside. The repetition of frames establishes a clear rhythm, guiding visitors through the pavilion in a controlled yet fluid procession.
Display is embedded within this movement. Sneakers are revealed as moments along the path, shifting the experience from conventional retail to a curated journey. The architecture avoids spectacle, instead relying on cadence, material lightness, and spatial compression to shape perception.
Designed to be modular and mobile, the pavilion reflects an adaptability aligned with contemporary retail conditions. Its lightweight system allows for ease of assembly and relocation, while maintaining a consistent spatial identity.
Light, structure, and material operate in quiet alignment—balancing openness with enclosure to produce an immersive environment defined by repetition, rhythm, and flow.
