BRIEF
A sequence of portals shapes the experience of the store, transforming its narrow width into a layered, non-linear journey.
The planning is organised around a series of cantilevered portals that repeat through the space, creating moments of entry, pause, display and transition. Rather than following a conventional linear retail layout, the sequence allows the collection to unfold gradually, with each portal framing a new visual and spatial engagement.
At the entrance, the first portal takes the form of a cantilevered display rack, establishing an immediate point of interaction. Further within, enclosed and semi-enclosed display elements respond to the site's width, creating display pedestals and framed pockets that structure the movement through the store.
The portals become both architectural and functional—accommodating displays while subtly organising reception, storage and trial areas. In doing so, the store becomes less about a fixed path and more about a sequence of discoveries, where movement through the collection is shaped by repetition, compression and release.
